Who is responsible?

The operator named below is the controller for this website. Contact them about privacy, corrections or your data rights. Booking providers are responsible for the services you use on their own websites.

Browsing and security

We serve our own images, fonts and code. We run no analytics or advertising pixels of our own. Optional external widgets and Drive are described below. Hosting processes connection data to deliver the site. For abuse prevention, the application keeps a keyed hash of an IP address in private server files. Each rate-limit entry expires after one minute and is deleted during cleanup. This processing relies on the legitimate interest in operating a reliable website.

Filters and departure airport

Your chosen guide filters and departure airport can appear in the page URL, including a link you share. The server receives these values when the page is requested; hosting logs may contain the URL under the policy below. We do not infer your airport from your IP or save an airport preference in a tracking cookie.

When you request a booking link

For the remaining referral forms, our server sends the requested trip selection and affiliate project identifiers to Travelpayouts to generate a booking link. It does not attach your name, email or browser IP address. Island booking tools are explained separately below. External links contact the provider when you follow them.

Retention

The application has no account database or visitor-linked search history. Generated Travelpayouts links are cached in private server files for one hour for flights and up to one day for other products. They can contain trip dates, but are not linked to a visitor IP or account. Expired links and rate-limit entries are no longer used and are deleted during the next cleanup, triggered by a site request at most once per minute or by the hosting scheduled task. Without traffic or a scheduled task, expired entries may remain on disk until the next cleanup. Hosting, backup and email retention are described in the operator details below.

Optional flight widgets

Travelpayouts/Aviasales widgets stay blocked until you choose to allow them. Loading them sends technical information, including your IP address and browser information, to the external providers and may use their cookies or storage for affiliate attribution and measurement. We ask for consent for this purpose. You can reject them and still read every guide or use our own search forms.

Optional Drive recommendations and analytics

Drive by Travelpayouts requires a separate choice from flight widgets. With consent, its code runs on editorial pages, reads page content and can collect your IP/browser information and page interactions. It can change or insert affiliate links, show personalised recommendations and measure visits and conversions using cookies or browser storage. Depending on provider settings, an offer may open another tab. Drive stays off on our booking forms page, privacy and cookie settings pages. These recommendations are advertising, not independent editorial ratings.

Your preference and withdrawal

After you make a choice, the essential first-party tcb_consent cookie remembers it for 180 days. It contains the choice, time, notice version and a random receipt number protected by a server signature. We do not use it to identify visitors across websites. Cookie settings lets you withdraw with one action. We remove loaded widgets and block future loads. To stop already running GetYourGuide or Drive code, the page reloads after a successful withdrawal; other open tabs update too. Flight search, island booking tools, GetYourGuide activities and analytics, and Drive each have a separate choice. We cannot erase third-party cookies from another domain; use your browser controls or the provider to remove those. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing.

Collections and checkout

The collection and product pages are hosted on this website. Payhip is contacted only when you follow a checkout link. Payhip then receives your IP address, browser information and the details you enter for payment and delivery, and applies its own privacy and cookie terms. This website does not collect payment card details.

Affiliate links and bookings

We may receive a commission when a provider attributes a booking to our link. After you follow a link, the booking provider and any involved affiliate network apply their own privacy and cookie terms. We do not take payment, hold your booking or receive your card details. Contact the booking provider for changes and refunds. We may see commission and transaction information in an affiliate dashboard under its terms.

Contact, transfers and your rights

If you email us, we use your message and contact details to respond, on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where its conditions are met, object to legitimate-interest processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. We normally respond within one month; we may need proportionate identity checks. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Provider processing may take place outside your country; the operator’s transfer arrangements are listed below.

Enable travel tools & flight compensation in Cookie settings to use EconomyBookings, Airalo, Kiwitaxi & AirHelp. Your choice is remembered across all islands for 180 days. The provider receives connection and search details and may use cookies or storage for referrals and measurement.

GetYourGuide

GetYourGuide reads page content and connection data to suggest activities. Its Integration Analyzer measures links, widgets and interactions; browser storage may be used. The widget and Analyzer load together.

The automatic activities widget uses the island page to select activities. The Integration Analyzer runs on regular pages only after you allow GetYourGuide activities & analytics. It stays off on the privacy, cookie settings and trip-planner pages. Your preferences apply across all islands. You can withdraw them in Cookie settings: booking frames are removed, and the page reloads to stop active GetYourGuide or Drive code. This cannot undo information already sent or delete a provider’s existing cookies. External booking links remain available without loading widgets.
